Description
Looking for a refreshing dish to cool you down on hot days? This Watermelon Fruit Salad with Lime Mint Dressing is everything you love about summer in one colorful bowl.
Ingredients
For the Salad:
- 3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed or scooped into balls
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 cup strawberries, halved
- 1 cup blueberries
- Optional: 1 kiwi or orange, peeled and sliced
For the Lime Mint Dressing:
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped
- Zest of 1 lime
- Pinch of salt, to enhance the fruit flavor
Instructions
Wash and dry all fruits. Cube the watermelon, halve the strawberries and cherries, and add everything to a large serving bowl. If using kiwi or orange, slice and mix them in gently.
In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, lime zest, maple syrup (if using), chopped mint, and a pinch of salt.
Pour the mint dressing over the fruit and gently toss to coat. Try not to overmix—you want the fruit to hold its shape and look fresh.
Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Garnish with extra mint or a sprinkle of lime zest for a fresh finish.
This salad shines when served cold and makes a beautiful centerpiece at any summer gathering.
