Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pizza Dough
- In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Make the White Pizza Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk, whisking continuously.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened, then remove from heat.
