For the Rolls:
1 lb (450g) refrigerated pizza dough or homemade dough
12 slices of deli ham (thin-cut, about 6 oz)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese

For the Honey Mustard Glaze:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12 x 8 inches. Layer ham slices evenly over the dough, followed by shredded cheese. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log.

Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the log into 9 even pieces. Arrange them cut-side up in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll.

In a small bowl, whisk together all glaze ingredients: melted butter, mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and poppy seeds if using. Spoon or brush the glaze generously over the rolls.

Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use parchment paper to make cleanup easier. Don’t overfill the dough or it may be hard to roll neatly. For even baking, rotate the pan halfway through. Want a crispier top? Broil for the last 2 minutes — just watch carefully.
