  • Author: Lyndy
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Baked Brie with Honey and Nuts is a warm, melty, and elegant appetizer made in just 15 minutes. Creamy brie cheese is baked until luscious, then drizzled with golden honey and topped with toasted nuts for the perfect sweet-savory bite. Ideal for holidays, dinner parties, or cozy evenings at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole brie wheel (about 200–250g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (or mix of pecans and almonds)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting nuts)
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Crackers, crostini, or apple slices (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a small baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Toast the Nuts: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped nuts and toast 2–3 minutes until golden and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Brie: Place brie in baking dish. Drizzle with half the honey and top with toasted nuts.
  4. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until soft and slightly puffy, but not melted through.
  5. Finish & Serve: Drizzle with remaining honey, garnish with thyme, and serve warm with crackers, crostini, or apple slices.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake: Brie is best soft and gooey, not runny.
  • Use quality honey: Floral or citrus honey adds beautiful depth.
  • Make ahead tip: Prep the brie and toppings early; bake just before serving.
  • Variation: Add dried cranberries or figs for a festive twist.
  • Storage: Refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days and reheat gently in the oven.
