Description

If you’re looking for the MVP of game day snacks or your next potluck star, this Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is the answer.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra gooeyness)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or chives (for garnish)

Optional Add-ins:

  • Diced pickles
  • Cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • Jalapeños (for heat)
  • Extra crumbled bacon for topping

Instructions

Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.

  1. Season it up: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1 more minute.
  2. Add the cheeses: Reduce heat to low. Add the cream cheese and stir until fully melted and combined. Then mix in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella (if using) until melted and smooth.
  3. Add bacon and sour cream: Stir in the crumbled bacon and sour cream until the dip is creamy and heated through.
  4. Serve or bake: You can serve straight from the skillet or transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with more cheese, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes for a bubbly, browned top.
  5. Garnish & enjoy: Sprinkle chopped green onions or chives on top. Serve hot with chips, crackers, or even slider buns for scooping.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cheese and sour cream for best melt and richness.
  • Soften your cream cheese before mixing so it blends smoothly.
  • Add seasonings to taste—some prefer more mustard or even a dash of ketchup for that burger authenticity.
  • Don’t overcook the dip—just heat until bubbly, not boiling.
