Description
If you’re looking for a warm, comforting dessert that’s as easy as it is delicious, this Apple Cinnamon Croissants Recipe is the perfect solution.
Ingredients
You’ll Need:
- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8-count)
- 1–2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional for serving:
- Powdered sugar
- Caramel drizzle
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Peel and core the apples. Slice them into 8 even wedges—one for each crescent roll. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside for coating and sprinkling.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles. Brush each triangle lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar over the dough, then place one apple slice at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll the dough around the apple slice, starting at the wide end and rolling toward the tip to form a crescent. Place each rolled croissant on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with more melted butter and sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar over each croissant.
Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the croissants are puffed, golden brown, and slightly crispy on the outside.
Serve immediately for best flavor. Add powdered sugar or caramel drizzle for extra sweetness. These mini apple pies are best warm and fresh!
Notes
- Use cold crescent dough – It’s easier to handle and roll
- Choose the right apples – Tart apples like Granny Smith balance the sweetness
- Don’t overstuff – One apple wedge is plenty for each croissant
