Instructions

Step 1: Reduce the Cider

Start by pouring 1 cup of apple cider into a small saucepan. Simmer on medium heat until reduced to 1/2 cup. This intensifies the cider’s natural sweetness and depth. Let it cool slightly before adding to the batter.

Step 2: Mix the Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the Greek yogurt (or sour cream), vanilla, and reduced apple cider.

In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Step 3: Bake
