- ¼ cup brown sugar

- 3 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
- Make streusel: Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly; set aside.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk melted butter with both sugars. Add eggs, apple butter, milk, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Combine: Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fill muffin cups: Divide batter evenly between liners, filling ¾ full. Sprinkle streusel on top.
- Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool & serve: Let muffins cool 10 minutes before transferring to a rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
