Ingredients
Scale
For the Fries:
- 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Garlic Parmesan Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
- Wash and peel the potatoes (or leave the skins on for extra crispiness).
- Cut into evenly sized fries (about ¼-inch thick) to ensure even cooking.
- Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch (this helps make them extra crispy).
- Drain and pat dry completely with a paper towel.
Step 2: Season and Cook in the Air Fryer
- Toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Parmesan Seasoning
- While the fries are cooking, melt the butter in a small bowl.
- Stir in minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Once the fries are done, toss them with the garlic butter mixture and Parmesan cheese.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!
- Garnish with fresh parsley for extra flavor.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
✔️ Use russet potatoes – They yield the crispiest fries.
