Ingredients

Scale

For the Fries:

  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Garlic Parmesan Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes (or leave the skins on for extra crispiness).
  2. Cut into evenly sized fries (about ¼-inch thick) to ensure even cooking.
  3. Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch (this helps make them extra crispy).
  4. Drain and pat dry completely with a paper towel.

Step 2: Season and Cook in the Air Fryer

  1. Toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  3. Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Parmesan Seasoning

  1. While the fries are cooking, melt the butter in a small bowl.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Once the fries are done, toss them with the garlic butter mixture and Parmesan cheese.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

  1. Garnish with fresh parsley for extra flavor.
  2. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

✔️ Use russet potatoes – They yield the crispiest fries.
