Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in spicy buffalo sauce — this Irresistible Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is the perfect guilt-free snack, appetizer, or side dish. Quick to make, full of flavor, and naturally meatless, it’s a healthy twist on everyone’s favorite wings!
Ingredients
For the buffalo cauliflower: 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets ½ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup water ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon paprika Salt and pepper, to taste 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional, for extra crunch) ½ cup buffalo sauce 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil Optional dips and garnishes: Ranch or blue cheese dressing Celery and carrot sticks Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper into a smooth batter. 3. Dip each cauliflower floret into batter, letting excess drip off. Roll in panko if using. 4. Place coated florets in a single layer in air fryer basket. Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crisp. 5. Meanwhile, mix buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl. 6. Toss hot cauliflower in sauce to coat. Return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes to set the sauce if desired. 7. Serve hot with dressing, celery, carrots, and parsley.
Notes
• Cut cauliflower evenly for consistent cooking. • Don’t overcrowd the basket to maintain crispiness. • For gluten-free, use GF flour and breadcrumbs or skip breadcrumbs. • To bake instead of air frying, cook at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes.
