Ingredients
4 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Fuji) 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil (optional) 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1–2 teaspoons brown sugar or maple syrup (optional) Pinch of nutmeg or ginger (optional) Handful of chopped nuts or raisins for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash and core the apples, leaving the bottom intact if filling, or slice into halves or quarters for smaller portions. 2. Brush apples with melted butter or oil if desired. Mix cinnamon, sugar, and spices and sprinkle over apples. 3. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange apples in the basket, leaving space between them. 4. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, checking halfway through, until tender and lightly caramelized. 5. Serve warm with optional toppings like nuts, yogurt, or honey.
Notes
• Use firm, crisp apples for best results. • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. • Adjust cook time based on apple size and air fryer model. • Skip butter and sugar for a one-ingredient healthy snack.
