Description
Looking for a sweet, gooey, crowd-pleasing treat that’s ready in minutes? These Cinnamon Biscuits are the perfect shortcut to homemade comfort.
Ingredients
- 1 can of Grands buttermilk biscuits (8-count, not flaky layers)
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Optional Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. In another bowl, melt the butter.
Separate the biscuit dough and roll each biscuit in the melted butter, then in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Place the coated biscuits snugly in the baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
While the biscuits bake, whisk together the cream cheese, milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm biscuits right after baking for a gooey, frosted finish.
Notes
- Use non-flaky layers: They hold their shape better for rolling and stuffing.
- Slightly flatten the dough before coating to help cinnamon sugar stick better.
- Keep the dough cold until you’re ready to use it. Warm dough becomes sticky and harder to handle.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan. Give biscuits just enough room to rise and bake evenly.
